The UVCC Culinary Services team is the exclusive Food and Beverage provider at the Utah Valley Convention Center. Led by Executive Chef Javier Aguirre, our team knows how integral food is to any event. We are dedicated to providing premium culinary products for every event which are then presented with professional care by our Banquet Services team. We do everything possible to ensure that your culinary experience with us meets everyone’s expectations.

We know how important food is to any meeting and our menu has been crafted to provide multiple options are sure to please you and your attendees. Our Culinary Services team can also devise custom menus matching the theme of your event or meeting a specific budget.

The Utah Valley Convention Center holds a banquet alcohol license. Hosted or non-hosted bar services can be provided at any event, whether you wish to provide a full bar or beer and wine only. Our house selections are listed on our menu and custom selections are also possible with advance notice.

FAQs

Do you provide gluten-free, dairy-free, or other selections for those with food allergies?

The UVCC Culinary team is eager to adapt event menus for attendees with food allergies, however adequate notice is required. Attendees should make requests for allergy accommodations directly to the Event Organizer at least (2) weeks prior to the event. Event Organizers should include those requests in their final meal guarantee which is due (7) days prior to the event.

Can you create a custom menu for my event?

Whether you are looking to reach a certain price point or providing a unique dining experience for your attendees, our Culinary Services team is anxious to provide you with a custom menu that meets your needs. Contact your Sales or Event Manager for more information.

What is included in the meal price?

Everything needed for the meal function is included. For more formal functions, linen tablecloths, linen napkins, standard centerpieces, goblets, flatware, and plates are included. Disposable cups, plates, napkins, or flatware may be utilized, depending on the function. Server labor is also included in the meal price.

When are my menu selections due to my Event Manager?

Your final menu selections are due to your assigned Event Manager no later than (21) days prior to your event, although earlier is always preferable.

When are my final meal guarantees due to my Event Manager?

Your final meal guarantees are due to your assigned Event Manager (7) days prior to your event. Guarantees cannot be decreased after that time. Any increases may be able to be accommodated after that time; however, an additional 15% surcharge will be assessed on added items.

Do you require attendees to show their ID at the bar?

Per Utah State Law, a patron who appears to be younger than 35 years old must also have their identification checked. If you clearly appear to be older than 35 years old, you might not need to provide identification. Acceptable forms of ID are a valid passport; a valid U.S. driver’s license; a valid U.S. military identification card with a date of birth and a photo; or a valid U.S. state issued identification card.
