The Provo Marriott Hotel and Hyatt Place Provo are both located across the street from the Utah Valley Convention Center. There are several more hotels in Provo that offer complimentary shuttle service to the UVCC. Food and Beverage, utilities services, housekeeping, janitorial, and room sets are exclusively provided by the OVG360 team. Third party Audio Visual and Decorating providers or the use of personal equipment are permitted, however event move-in and move-out days/times must be included in the contracted event times. Additionally, electrical charges will apply for any equipment needing power.

For each event, the following basic services are included in the cost of room rental: a one-time standard room set per room per event day; house lighting, ventilation, and air conditioning; and a one-time daily cleaning of rented spaces, including lobbies and restrooms. (Cleaning does not include individual exhibitor areas.) Contact your Sales or Event Manager for more information.
The UVCC can accept a small amount of packages for event planners prior to move in, and a fee may be charged based on weight. The amount of packages that can be accepted will depend on the events that are booked at that time. Please speak to your Event Manager if you wish to arrange this service. Material handling for vendors must be pre-arranged and paid for through UVCC Exhibitor Services.
The UVCC is a non-union facility with the exception of the IATSE Local 99 riggers union. All facility rigging must be scheduled with them through your Event Manager.
Outside food and beverage is prohibited. We also prohibit certain items that may be damaging to our facility or harmful to guests (e.g., helium balloons, glitter, confetti, and drones). For approval for a certain item, see your Event Manager.
Fog machine or smoke machine usage is restricted to water-based solutions. To utilize these machines, you must place a request with your Event Manager at least two weeks before your event. To run these machines, the facility alarms must be silenced, and a Fire Watch attendant will be required to monitor the alarms and the room(s) in which the fog/smoke machines will be used. Pyrotechnics are permitted when contracted through a provider with the appropriate licenses, permits, and plan required by Provo City Fire Department. This must be requested through your Event Manager at minimum two weeks prior to your event. A Fire Watch attendant will also be required. See your Event Manager for pricing.
Per Utah State Law, a patron who appears to be younger than 35 years old must also have their identification checked. If you clearly appear to be older than 35 years old, you might not need to provide identification. Acceptable forms of ID are a valid passport; a valid U.S. driver’s license; a valid U.S. military identification card with a date of birth and a photo; or a valid U.S. state issued identification card. For event deposit payments, we accept credit cards (VISA, AMEX, MC), ACH transfers, or checks. For concessions, cafe, or bars, we only accept credit cards.
